Made in Danner's Portland, Oregon factory, the Danner Ridge was created to be a lighter, more versatile hiking boot that still reflects classic Danner style.

Designed for short hikes and city streets, the overall design is inspired by our Danner Light original with an updated construction method that integrates the upper, midsole and durable sole into a single piece.

This new unified platform, combined with a low-profile Vibram outsole, dramatically reduces weight and creates out-of-the-box comfort that isn't standard with most conventional hiking boots.

Full-grain leather and waxed fabric uppers:

Waxed fabric side panels accentuate the full-grain leather for a strong, durable upper with a unique aesthetic.

GORE-TEX (GTX) :

100% waterproof and breathable, GORE-TEX linings ensure that water doesn't penetrate, while allowing perspiration and moisture to escape.

Removable OrthoLite insole:

3 layers of variable density are combined for maximum cushioning and support.

The entire insole is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.

Vibram® Kletterlift outsole with Megagrip :

Specially designed for comfort and durability, the heel provides excellent shock absorption and the Vibram® Megagrip compound guarantees excellent traction and stability on wet and dry surfaces.

Stitched construction:

Handcrafted to offer a more large platform, the legendary topstitched construction provides added stability underfoot. Many Danner shoes can be repaired.
